TWENTY FIRST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. Feasts this Week :

2. Today is celebrated as Justice Sunday.
3. Today, Saturday, 22nd August, there will be a Meeting of all Volunteers of the Annual Novena at 7.30pm. Attendance is Compulsory.
4. The Parish has organized a First Aid Awareness Program in collaboration with Nanavati Max Hospital to train volunteers of the Annual Novena. This will be held in the Community Hall, today (Sunday) after the 8am Mass. All are welcome to join this program.
5. A prayer for the success of our Annual Novena will be recited at all Masses on 27th, 28th and 29th August.
6. Next Saturday, 29th August, Masses as on every Saturday. There will be Rosary at 6.00 pm followed by the Evening Mass at 6.30pm. After Mass there will be a Procession of the Statue of Our Lady of Velankanni to the Veneration Hall.
7. From next Sunday, 30th August we begin the Annual Novena to Our Lady of Velankanni. For timings of Masses, please collect a flier from the table outside the Church. Please note that during the Novena days, there will be no parking of Vehicles inside the Church Compound or along Velankanni Church Lane.
8. We welcome Deacon Ivan Fernandes to our Parish Team. He has been appointed for Weekend Ministry in our Parish. However, he will also reside in our Parish and help whenever needed. He will be in charge of the Youth Group as well as the Bible Cell. He will also be in charge of Our Lady of Fatima Community. We wish him a very fruitful ministry in our Parish.
