NIGHTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Friday, 14th August: St. Maximilian Kolbe, Priest & Martyr - Today we celebrate Vianney Sunday. We thank all our Priests for their dedicated services to our Parish. Our Priests will be felicitated at the 8am Mass followed by a short programme after the Mass. All are invited. Please note that today there will be a second collection for the Sick and retired priests. Please be generous. A Prayer for Priests will be recited at all Masses.
- Saturday, 15th August is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a day of Obligation. You may fulfill this obligation by participating in any Mass either on Friday Evening or at any Mass on Saturday. Please note that the Masses on Saturday, 15th August is as on every Saturday. The Masses in English will be at 6.30 am and 6.30 pm. The prayer of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be recited at all Masses.
- Saturday, 15th August is also Independence Day. Hoisting of the National Flag after the 6.30am English Mass.
- Forms for Ushers, Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Altar Servers who wish to volunteer for our Annual Novena are available at the Sacristy or at the Parish Office during Office hours. The last date for returning these forms is Monday, 10th August.
