FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT

1. Community Animators are requested to plan for the Jubilee Cross to be taken to the homes in their respective communities. Parishioners can keep the Cross for a day in their homes. Prayer Cards in English, Konkani and Marathi are available.
2. On Friday, Stations of the Cross at 6.30 pm conducted by St. Paul Community followed by the Evening Mass
3. The Second session of our Lenten Mission is entitled ‘A Pilgrim Journey for Repentance and Renewal’. This session will be conducted on Friday, 14th March at 7.30pm by Fr. Leo D’Monte. Please attend in large numbers.
4. During Lent you are requested to contribute towards Lenten Alms which is for the Diocesan Seminary at Goregaon. Cheques may be drawn in favour of ‘Archdiocese of Bombay ‘.
5. The Parish has planned a Lenten Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Velankanni at Bhatte Bhandar, Uttan on Saturday, 22nd March. A bus has been arranged. Those interested please register at the Parish Office with payment of Rs. 100.
6. Offline admissions to Jr. K.G & Sr. K.G. of St. Joseph Convent High School, Vile Parle West is in progress. Details of Offline admission are put up on the Notice Board of the KG Section of St Joseph’s Convent. Last day for submission of application is 12th March. Interviews on 15th March.
7. The Bombay Catholic Sabha will set up a help desk for Senior Citizens who wish to register for the Senior Citizen’s Card on Saturday, 15th March from 5pm to 7.30pm and on Sunday, 16th March from 8am to 9.30am. Please refer to the Notice Board for documents to be submitted together with application form.
8. During the Season of Lent our Sunday School Children will be animating the 8am Mass every Sunday.
9. Parishioners who have not yet contributed towards the Community Fund for this Financial Year are reminded to make their contribution as soon as possible before 31st March.
