TWENTY THIRD SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
- Feasts this Week:
Thursday, 12th September: Most Holy Name of Mary
Friday, 13th September: St. John Chrysostom
Saturday, 14th September: The Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
- Today, 8th September is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is also our Parish Feast. The Feast Mass at 7.15 pm will be celebrated by His Eminence, Oswald Cardinal Gracias.
- On behalf of the Parish Team we wish all our Parishioners a very happy Feast. May our Blessed Mother bless all our Families.
- We thank the Finance Committee, Organizing Committee, Ushers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Choirs, Altar Servers and all volunteers who helped in conducting the Novena Services.
- The Statue of Mother Mary will be brought from the Veneration Hall to the Church on Monday at 6.30 pm followed by the Evening Mass.
- Mount Mary Basilica has allotted the 8.30 am Mass on Tuesday, 10th September to our Parish. This Mass will be celebrated by our Parish Team accompanied by our Choir and Lector. A bus will leave the Church at 7.30 am. Those who wish to avail of the bus Service should register their name at the Parish Office between 10am & 12 Noon or between 5 pm & 7 pm. Please note that due to the Mass at the Mount there will be no Morning Mass in the Church on Tuesday.
- Next Sunday, 15th September there will be a Training Session for all Altar Servers. All Sunday School Children may also attend this meeting.
