SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT

1. Feast this Week :
   Monday, 8th December: Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
2. Today’s Liturgy at the 8am Mass will be animated by St. Jude Community.
3. The following Communities will animate the 8am Mass for the remaining Sundays in Advent :

• 14th December: St. Paul & Our Lady of Fatima Community
• 21st December: Holy Family & St. Anthony Community.

1. There will be a Sale of Sarees on Saturday, 13th December from 9am to 11am and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm in the Community Hall.
2. Confessions in preparation for Christmas in the Church on Wednesday, 10th December from 5pm to 7pm and for the Sick on Thursday, 11th December from 9am to 11am.
3. The Senior Citizens Association is organizing their Annual Christmas Events, namely, Raffle and Christmas Bazaar next Weekend – on 13th & 14th December. Please patronize this Christmas Bazaar which will help them to organize activities in the Parish and to support those in need.
4. This Year’s Advent Campaign against hunger and disease will help support the Works of the Centre for Social Action. You may donate online at csamumbai.in or by Cheques in favour of ‘Centre for Social Action ‘. Envelopes for the same are placed at the Entrance of the Church. Please be generous.
5. Parishioners are invited to participate in the Christmas Crib Competition. Please give your Names to your Parish Animators.
6. Communities are requested to prepare a Christmas Star which will be put up outside the Church.
7. The Youth of St Anthony Church, Vakola is organizing a 2-day Fete on 27th & 28th December. This event is open to all age groups. For passes and other details please look up the Notice Board.
