FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT

1. Feast this Week :
   Wednesday, 3rd December: Solemnity of St. Francis Xavier, Patron of the Archdiocese.
2. We thank all those who conducted and participated in the Adoration on the Feast of Christ the King and in the Procession. We also thank those who prepared the Altars and the Velankanni Recreation Center for the Concluding Service.
3. Today’s Liturgy at the 8am Mass will be animated by Don Bosco Community.
4. The following Communities will animate the 8am Mass for the remaining Sundays in Advent :

• 7th December: St. Jude Community
• 14th December: St. Paul & Our Lady of Fatima Community
• 21st December: Holy Family & St. Anthony Community.

1. Friday, 5th December is the First Friday of the Month. Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament at 6.30pm conducted by Holy Family Community followed by the Evening Mass.
2. The Senior Citizens Association is organizing their Annual Christmas Events, namely, Raffle and Christmas Bazaar on 13th & 14th December. They request you to support these events by contributing in Cash, kind, gifts or by taking up Stalls. Raffle lists are being circulated. Details are on the Notice Board. Please contact Nina, Dorothy or Jessie for further information. The proceeds from these activities help to organize activities in the Parish and to support those in need. They look forward to your generous support and cooperation.
3. This Year’s Advent Campaign against hunger and disease will help support the Works of the Centre for Social Action which works in Mumbai, Raigad & Thane in order to renew and transform lives. You may donate online at csamumbai.in or by Cheques in favour of ‘Centre for Social Action ‘. Envelopes for the same are placed at the Entrance of the Church. Please be generous.
