EIGHTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. The Jubilee Cross will be inaugurated in our Parish on Sunday, 2nd March at the 8am Mass. After the Post Communion Prayer there will be a short Prayer Service.
2. Community Animators are requested to plan for the Jubilee Cross to be taken to the homes in their respective communities. Parishioners can keep the Cross for a day in their homes. Prayer Cards for the same are available.
3. Wednesday is Ash Wednesday. It is a day of Fasting and Abstinence. Ashes will be blessed and imposed at the 7am Mass. Ashes will also be imposed at the 7pm Mass.
4. Stations of the Cross every Friday at 6.30pm conducted by different communities. This will be followed by the Evening Mass and a Lenten Mission. This Friday the Stations of the Cross will be conducted by Don Bosco Community.
5. This year the Parish has planned for Four Mission Talks on 4 Fridays in Lent. The first session is entitled ‘A Pilgrim Journey with our Family to build a Family in Faith’. This session will be conducted on Friday, 7th March at 7.30pm by Fr. Botham Patil. Please attend in large numbers.
6. Friday is also the First Friday of the Month. Due to the Stations of the Cross there will be no Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
7. During the Season of Lent our Sunday School Children will be animating the 8am Mass every Sunday.
8. Parishioners who have not yet contributed towards the Community Fund for this Financial Year are reminded to make their contribution as soon as possible before 31st March.
