EIGHTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. Feasts this Week :
   Tuesday, 4th August: St. John Vianney, Priest
   Thursday, 6th August: The Transfiguration of the Lord
   Saturday, 8th August: St. Dominic, Priest
2. We thank our Children, Youth, Sunday School Teachers and PPC Members for organizing a very entertaining programme for Parents and Grandparents last Sunday. We also thank all the parents and grandparents for their active participation.
3. Today, Sunday, 2nd August, the Newly Formed Parish Pastoral Council will be commissioned at the 8am Mass. All PPC Members should join in the Entrance Procession. PPC Meeting after the 8am Mass.
4. Friday, 7th August is the First Friday of the Month. Adoration at 6.30 pm conducted by St Paul Community followed by the Evening Mass.
5. Next Sunday, 9th August will be celebrated as Vianney Sunday. Our Priests will be felicitated at the 8am Mass followed by a short programme after the Mass. Please note that next Sunday there will be a second collection for the Sick and retired priests. Please be generous. Next Sunday a Prayer for Priests will be recited at both Masses.
6. Forms for Ushers, Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Altar Servers who wish to volunteer for our Annual Novena are available at the Sacristy or at the Parish Office during Office hours. The last date for returning these forms is Monday, 10th August.
7. The Bombay Catholic Sabha, Irla Unit will be organizing a Free Health Check-Up camp for the 3rd consecutive year. This is in collaboration with Nanavati Max Life and will be held on Saturday, 8th August from 2pm to 7pm in the Community Hall. All are welcome to avail of this facility.
8. Last Sunday’s Collection amounted to Rs. 15,840. This amount is for the Parish. We thank you for your generosity.
