Faith Formation Sunday (7th July 2024)

The vocation in the ministry of Catechesis flows from the Sacrament of Baptism and is strengthened by Confirmation, both are Sacraments through which the layperson participates in the priestly, prophetic, and kingly office of Christ. Within this context, the Rite of Commissioning of Catechists was conducted during the 8.00am mass on Sunday, 7 July, 2024. Those who were commissioned included the Sunday School Teachers, Confirmation Teachers as well as the Pre-Baptism and RCIA Catechists.

Rite of Acceptance into the First Holy Communion and Confirmation Catechesis

The Parish Community witnessed and prayed for 4 children and 6 youth who are preparing themselves to receive the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation respectively.

With the Rite of Acceptance into the Catechesis for these two Sacraments, these children have now begun their journey to partake in the Lord’s Supper and deepen their relationship with Christ and his church as His witnesses.
