ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR 24TH / 25TH OCTOBER 2026

THIRTIETH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. Feast this Week :
   Wednesday, 28th October : Saints Simon & Jude, Apostles
2. We thank Holy Family Community, St. Anthony’s Community & Our Youth Group for putting up Stalls to raise Funds for the Missions.
3. The Sunday School will put up a Snack Stall this Weekend on Saturday afternoon, 24th October and Sunday 25th October. Don Bosco Community will put up their Stall on the Next Weekend – Saturday, 31st October & Sunday, 1st November. The proceeds of all this is also for the Missions.
4. Envelopes for your contribution to the Missions have also been distributed as well as placed at the Entrance of the Church. Next Sunday, 1st November is the last day for returning these Envelopes with your contribution.
5. There is another box placed at the Entrance of the Church with Mass Intention Envelopes for All Souls Day. You may drop your intentions with the Mass Stipend in the box. The Masses on All Souls Day will be offered for these Intentions.
6. We are planning a Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica, Bandra in the Month of November. Those who will join this Pilgrimage should register at the Parish Office on or before 8th November.
7. The Senior Citizens of our Parish has organized a Senior Citizens Fiesta on Next Saturday, 31st October after the Evening Mass. Parishioners who are 55 years and above are invited for this Fiesta. A registration Fee of Rs 100 is payable at the Parish Office or with any member of the Senior Citizens Association. Passes are available with Committee Members of the Association. The last date for registration is Sunday, 25th October.
8. The Family Cell of St Anthony’s Church, Vakola has organized a Non-residential Married Encounter Weekend on 14th & 15th November. Married Couples especially newly married couples are encouraged to attend this program in order to renew and grow in their relationship. Registration Fee is Rs 1000 per couple. This Weekend, a Married Couple will enlighten you on the need of attending this Marriage Encounter Programme. They will also set up a desk for registration outside the Church.
