SEVTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. Feasts this Week :

2. Today, 26th July is the Feast of Saints Joaquim and Anne. We will be celebrating Parents’ Day. It is also celebrated as World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly. There will be a program for Parents and Grandparents after the 8am Mass for those who have purchased Coupons.
3. On Saturday, 1st August, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will have a training session after the Evening Mass at 7.30pm. All Extraordinary Ministers of the Parish should attend this training program.
4. Next Sunday, 2nd August, the Newly Formed Parish Pastoral Council will be inducted at the 8am Mass. All PP Members should join in the Entrance Procession. PPC Meeting after the 8am Mass.
5. Vianney Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, 9th August. Our Priests will be felicitated at the 8am Mass followed by a short programme after the Mass. Please note that on Vianney Sunday there will be a second collection for the Sick and retired priests.
6. Volunteer Forms for Ushers, Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and Altar Servers will be available from Sunday at the Sacristy or at the Parish Office during Office hours. The last date for returning these forms is Monday, 10th August.
7. The Bombay Catholic Sabha, Irla Unit will be organizing a Free Health Check-Up camp for the 3rd consecutive year. This is in collaboration with Nanavati Max Life on Saturday, 8th August from 2pm to 7pm in the Community Hall. All are welcome to avail of this facility.
8. Last Sunday’s Collection amounted to Rs. 16,370. This amount is for the Parish. We thank you for your generosity.
