- The Annual Novena for the Feast of Our Lady of Velankanni has commenced. For Mass timings during the Novena please see the Handouts which are available outside the Church.
- Tomorrow, Sunday, 1st September, the Solemn Procession of the Statue of Our Lady of Velankanni will leave the Church at 5 pm and will conclude with Mass in the Church at 6.30 pm.
- As in the past years, all Novena Masses will be live-streamed on the Church YouTube Channel.
- This year the 57th Annual Novenas will also be streamed live on Seven Star Network Channel – No. 95 and on various social media Channels on YouTube, & Facebook as Velankanni Church Irla Live.
- Next Sunday, 8th September is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is also our Parish Feast. The Feast Mass at 7.15 pm will be celebrated by His Eminence, Oswald Cardinal Gracias.
- Mount Mary Basilica has allotted the 8.30 am Mass on Tuesday, 10th September to our Parish. This Mass will be celebrated by our Parish Team accompanied by our Choir and Lector. A bus will leave the Church at 7.30 am. Those who wish to avail of the bus Service should register their name at the Parish Office between 10am & 12 Noon or between 5 pm & 7 pm.
- There will be a special Mass for the Sick at Mount Mary Basilica on Monday, 16th September at 10.30 am. A bus will be arranged from the Church. Those interested please register at the Parish Office before 5th September.
